Duke, HM, I'm sorry ;A; !! /shameless idea pickpocketing
If you have any questions regarding Taixia, please post them here! They can be anything: Pokidex questions, job inquiries, whatever you are unsure of. As questions present themselves, I'll classify and organize them accordingly
Q: I was wondering about the past of Taixia. What was there say, 2000 years ago? Might there be any secrets burried in the woods etc?
A: Taixia is an old land, presumably. The numbers have not yet been decided. The natives have been living there for, what they assume to be, roughly four to five thousand years. Non-natives appeared on the scene roughly three thousand years ago, and at this point, is was pretty much nothing more than a land to find a job or too working the land or fisheries. So about two thousand years ago, civilization would have taken route, and colonial style 'cities' would've been budding.
The natives story behind the woods (namely the Northern wood) is that ancient legendary Pokemon used to make homes there, or visit there. Often, if someone ventures in, they do not venture out. Because of this, little is known about the wood. However, there is a very popular rumour that a very rich man visited Taixia once with his wife, and took a stroll through the woods. During their stroll, they found the perfect spot to hide their riches when they passed, and left clues as to its location. But, after they died, no one was able to find the beginning clue as to the treasures location. This is an old-wives tale however, and there is no proof to back it up.
So, yes, it is possible there are secrets amongst the woods. The Southern wood has little mystery about it, compared to its northern brother.
Q: I was wondering what kind of weather there is on the island. Does it have usual seasons or not? In winter, is there snow, or something particular?
A: Yes, there is. Taixia's location allows it to have all four seasons, however, its winters are relatively short. The first snow is in November, on average, and melts in mid-March. The longest season is summer, starting in mid-May, and ending in mid-September.
