Kaiki Murasaki
Name: Kaiki Murasaki. ("Kaiki", Hawaiian, means something like "Girl-Sun". "Murasaki", Japanese, means "purple".)
Alias: Sometimes nicknamed "Kiki".
Age: 7. Not a trainer, of course.
Relatives:
Manabu Murasaki (Mother, Ilarii-Hikialani) [NPC: profile];
Father (Died in car accident, Hikialani);
Grandfather (Died in military, never met, Ilarii);
Aunt (Suicide, never met, Ilarii);
Grandmother (Died from cancer, never met, Ilarii).
Hometown: Ewekapu, Alekona.
Appearance:: Kaiki is a small girl, her skin is pretty light-colored. She has short straight purple hair and purple eyes, hence her last name. She wears a clothing that resembles a simplification of kimono, overly colored in magenta, with a greenish silver belt with golden details. Uses a greenish silver scarf with its ends resembling tree triangular fingers. On white socks, uses purple shoes with golden details. For last, has a golden ribbon in the back of her head.
Height and weight will be added soon... Unless I forget it. XD
Sprite:
Personality: Generally, Kaiki is somewhat "blank", or just normal, though pretty quieter than kids at her age. Due to, her age, can be highly frightened/scared by unknown/strange adults, even if they mean no harm. Actually, Kaiki seems to feel more comfortable around pokémon than around with other humans. Usual, is gentle, calm, and polite, specially with pokémon even if they belong to others. She seems to have a rather peculiar/uncommon and above average bound with pokémon, even those who live in the wild (Of course, she knows that she does have to be more careful with wild ones than domesticated ones, she's young, but not that stupid, period XD).
However, besides refusing to be a trainer when growing up, she’s definably not found of trainers, and will seem disappointed at others who want to be trainers (Well, her mother is a licensed trainer, but is currently a teacher). She won't talk to a trainer (As if they weren't even there), actually, she'll highly ignore them and greet their partner pokémon instead. Despite the total ignoring, she won't say anything nasty to them or anything. She seems quite found of the ghost type, despite it being a forbidden type, specially for the fact she can be seen sometimes carrying a Gengar plush. But hey, ghost type is forbidden, but you can't forbid a kid from liking it, of course, as long they don't break any rule... *Cough*. Is good at making some sort of snacks, which pokémon seem to love to no end.
She loves art, painting, and drawing. It's her hobby and what she does the most, probably influence from her late father who was an architect, which is the reason some may joke by saying that she must've been a Smeargle in her previous incarnation. Many of her personality, traits, likings/disliking came from happenings from her past (Biography). Due to being too young, she still doesn't have a wide understanding about government, law, and how it works.
Biography: Kaiki's mother, Manabu Murasaki (NPC), is actually foreign from Ilarii (Most because she was fed up with the military abuse of power and for being looked down sometimes for being a woman), but moved to Hikialani after finishing her studies and trainer school, and took the job as teacher. Later met Kaiki's father, an architect, who had an uncommon and strong bound with pokémon, and married him. Both bough a good house with a closed/isolated garden, and a basement (Which Manabu never dares to even open due to childhood trauma, lol). Later, from the two's love, Kaiki was born. Due to her father being an architect, she grew a liking to art, drawing and painting since even before learning to walk. One day, Kaiki and her father found that a few ghost pokémon (Most of those being Gastly and very few Haunter) were living in their basement. Despite they being rumored wild, they already seemed used to human presence, they probably were already living there even before the previous owner of the house bough it, then selling it to Kaiki's parents upon deciding to move to another continent. Kaiki's father found inhuman to expel the pokémon from there as pests since they never seemed to have any problem at all (You can even enter the house and the ghost pokémon go unnoticed to you, since they don't haunt at all), so he and Kaiki kept that discovery a secret between only him and her (He knew Manabu would probably have an hysterical attack if she found out...), then both made some sort of daily ritual. Kaiki's father taught her to make the snacks she currently makes, and every day, they would leave a big tray filled with those goodies in the basement for the ghost pokémon, two or three times a day. And the pokémon seem to have fallen in love with those snacks, they really enjoy it. So far, Kaiki seemed to have got her father's bound with pokémon too.
One day, when Kaiki was around 3 & half to 4 years old, her father was heading to work when he got hit by a car driven by a drunk trainer (Drivers never learn, do they...), and died due to it. Since then, Kaiki developed her currently disliking toward trainers (Mostly because the responsible for her father's death was a trainer) and a uncommon liking for ghost pokémon (Her mother thinks it’s because her daughter might believe her father turned into a ghost pokémon after dying, which quite makes some sense, but never talked to her openly about it), and got her a Gengar plush. Kaiki kept her father's secret about the basement and cherishes it till today, for her father, and keeps doing the daily ritual, since this little secret is basically her only connection to her father left, and will keep it safe till the end. Believe it or not, Manabu doesn't have the slightest idea that somebody else is on their home, derp. Since Manabu was the only to work since her husband's death, she had to work as teacher even more, on morning, afternoon, and night, forcefully having to leave Kaiki alone at home, but letting her Cubone to look after her child. So Kaiki is usually seen at the companion of her mother's pokémon, which may have strengthened her bound with pokémon.
Skills:
Art: For her age, she's very talented at drawing, painting, and such. She even seems to show an above average for her age understanding about art, like knowing that pink isn't the same as magenta.
Speed: Since she's pretty light, if she runs, you can lose her from your sight fast.
Pokémon bound: Has an above average ability to befriend a pokémon. (Is this even a skill?)
Weaknesses: Difficult to get along with other humans, specially if they are trainers or want to become trainers. That's the reason her mother has got difficult/problems to put her into a school, so, since she's a teacher, she currently teaches her daughter herself, but as if she was indeed her student, giving her a -F if needed. But Manabu still wants her daughter to go to school.
She also doesn't think rationally sometimes, like, thinking with her heart instead of her head.
Quote: “Never trust a stranger at first sight… Mom told me so.” (What a lame quote…)
Item:
Nothing really pokémon related, besides:
Fresh Water x5
Potion x3
Super Potion x2
Oran Berry x1
Pokédex x1 (Actually Manabu's, but she lets her daughter have it.)
Soda Pop x1
Moomoo Milk x4
Since she’s not a trainer, she can’t catch pokémon, so, no pokéball to her, ha!
Also has a lot of her homemade snacks.
Other notes: She looks funny when she gets annoyed at people for saying her clothing is pink, when it's actually magenta. Kaiki doesn't hate pink, but finds pretty dumb that people can mistake pink and magenta.
The said snacks she makes usually for pokémon can be experimented by humans too, but pokémon seem to love it more, and it's common to see her offering a bit of her snacks to a pokémon, even if they belong to another person. Those snacks produce a very sweet and neat scent, which sometimes tend to attract nearby pokémon through their sense of smell. Nearby humans can feel the scent too, but more weaker.
She keeps the basement thing in total secret, and only she knows about it, the other having knowledge was her father, but since he died... But hey, it might or might not get discovered in the future, which would totally be a "oh sh--" factor...
Despite the religiousness from Alekona, Kaiki isn't a religious person herself, mostly because her mother isn't a religious person as well, yet, both respect religion. Though Kaiki seems to believe in ghosts and spirits, probably because of her father.
