Natural Resources: In order, Taixia's most common (stable) resources are timber, fisheries, wheat/grains/cash crops, and ore. Despite the second largest forest of Taixia being off limits, a project that has been running for sometime has it set that as large patches of forest are cut up, new trees are planted to grow in their place. When the timber resource is scarce, Taixia relies on its other exports to allow the numbers to rise (this goes for all their resources). Fisheries never seem to run out of stock; because of the huge shore lines, Taixian fishers get paid big dollars for hauling in huge catches. The lush valley lands of Taixia are prime for growing cash crops such as wheat, grains, fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants. There are only four mines on Taixia, so ore is a highly valuable find. Because of the limits on ore, only so much can be mined during mining season.
Oil has been found in Taixia, but it is not enough to constitute as a stable revenue.

Geography: (Until I can figure out how to make a legitimate map in Paint Tool SAI (maps and me aren't friends), please bear with these half-done ones ;A;!)
The map pictured above is the basic geographical layout of Taixia. The continent is more forest and valleys than anything, with a few mountain ranges placed here and there. In the definitions below, there are parts where I mention cities/towns/villages. REFER to the map BELOW the explanations to see the placement of these spots.

The map pictured above is the basic geographical layout of Taixia. The continent is more forest and valleys than anything, with a few mountain ranges placed here and there. In the definitions below, there are parts where I mention cities/towns/villages. REFER to the map BELOW the explanations to see the placement of these spots.
- Area 1; Northern Wood; 'The Dark Forest', Ma Nakil Florata (The Forbidden Wood):
This is a very dark, and dangerous forest; the trees grow tall and dense. Most of the people avoid this forest at all costs, for the Pokemon inside tend to be extremely violent. Trees here are forbidden to be cut down for timber use, as per request of the Queen. The native villages avoid going into the forest, too. It is considered sacred ground, where a legendary was said to have lived (this of course is pure fallacy). There are no marked paths in the woods; all trails lead around it. - Area 2; The Alaklut Valley: Hills roll as far as the eye can see, and much of this land is untouched by humans; Pokemon roam free here. The northern and western parts have multiple fields with lush flowers, which are often times picked variously for their seeds for both medicinal and decor resources. This is also were various farms can be found.
- Area 3; Lake Alaklut: A pristine, calm lake at the northern half of the Alaklut valley. Two villages sit at either side, each living in harmony with the other. A few pokemon live in this lake, but not many, as people from the near by town come often to swim and have a picnic. This is a prime vacation spot.
- Areas 4 & 5; Forge River & Forge Lake: These two bodies of water are the connectors of two towns. There is not much different between them and Lake Alaklut, except at the mouth of Forge River is a small water fall that leads to about 5 miles of rapids, which empty out into the ocean. Kayakers who enjoy going down rapids come here often to test endurance.
- Area 6; Mountains of Indevur (Indevur Range): The most extensive mountain range on the islands; it is home to a multitude of rock and ground Pokemon. It is also home to three of the four mines the islands have. In the northern part of the range, there is a small town hidden amongst a deep valley carved out by a glacier many years before non-native (and perhaps even the natives themselves) came to the land. A tribal village is hidden amongst the many mountains, as well. Rock climbers and backpackers usually come to this range for a challenge. The highest mountain in the range is Mount Dall, with a height of 14,739 feet.
- Area 7; Southern Wood: The polar opposite of its northern counterpart, the Southern woods are a very placid place. The pokemon inside them may not always be, but on a good day, anyone can enjoy a nice hike through the natural beauty. In the eastern part of the forest, surrounded by trees that grow far more dense than other places is a deep pit in the earth where the main river empties out (see #12 & 13)
- Area 8; Lake Altaria: A man-made lake in the Southern Wood’s eastern section. This lake is a common vacation spot, and as such, the towns make money year round from tourism. During the Spring, Altaria and Swablu gather around this lake to feed off the berries of the trees nearby.
- Area 9 & 10; Valley of Altaria, River Amnesty: There is not much difference between this valley and the Alaklut Valley up north. Large patches of wild flowers can be seen here and there. The River Amnesty breaks off into two small lakes, with a village in between. These lakes are both simply called Amnesty North and Amnesty South.
- Area 11; Ladvent Range: The fourth mine is located in these mountains. They are similar to the Indevur Range up north, however they are not as tall – the highest peak is roughly 5,400 feet. They also do not have as many Pokemon in them. In fact, the Ladvent Range is rather scarce when it comes to Pokemon population. These mountains separate a town at two major cities, but there are tracks around and through them.
- Areas 12 & 13; Ma Qaval Makra (The Darkest Depths) and Nimbus River: This is the large pit located in the Southern Wood. The pit used to be a legend; people believed water disappeared to the center of the earth when it poured down. When biologists went on a spelunking adventure, they found that it does not – in fact, there was an entire underwater reservoir. The reservoir feeds the River Amnesty, and is fed by the Nimbus River’s main branch. This place is very dangerous, and there are signs posted all over that ward off travelers. Many a 'dare-devil' has tried to climb down into the pit, only to drown in the cold water below.
- Areas 14, 15, & 16; Cirrus Valley, Cirrus Forest, and Cirrus Lake (The Cirrus Trio): These, too are much like their main island counterparts. However, the Cirrus Trio are filled with many Pokemon; some nice and some not. The town & city near them are under constant watch by the Guard, as Pokemon have been known to come into the town and steal food/attack humans that agitate them.
- Area 17; Luxury Island: This island is made of a extinct, snow-capped volcano, Mount Laxious (lah-zi-oos). There is a small gorge on its southern side, which houses most of the island’s Pokemon population. People do not live on the island because, like the Northern Wood, the Pokemon here are extremely dangerous, and are set off easily. Dare-devils will often come here to hike the mountain, and in the process get hurt by a Pokemon or two if they are unprepared. It is highly recommended that any non-experienced traveler remain as far away as they can from the island, as the Pokemon are not only dangerous, but most of the vicious, and forbidden types are housed here. Catching Pokemon off Luxury Island is punishable by jail time, and the confiscation of said captured Pokemon. It is illegal.
