ARCHIVE LISTING://
(I do reserve the right to come back at any time to add and/or remove from this post. As Pokivere changes, so too will the land.)
Opening archive title: FOR. RELAT. Files opened.
Foreign Relations: Taixia strives to be as open to foreign trading as possible. They are a very open region, and are welcoming to all travelers and trainers alike. Because Taixia is more often than not an armed neutrality, they look to keeping friendly relations with the other continents.
Opening archive title: MILIT. Files opened.
The information below can be changed at any time. War is not a common thing for Taixia to get into.
Because Taixia is surrounded by water, the Navy is its most valuable asset. To be in the Taixian Navy is perhaps one of the highest honours; just as the United States highly values any of its military, Taixian has a bad habit of playing favouritism. Navy members are the most respected - of course, they all are, you just tend to see people be a little more enthusiastic around the Navy. While the Army is not the best, it can still put up a fight. (Think England's history; their army was overshadowed heavily by the Navy).
The Taixian military is the most technologically advanced part of the continent, right up to par with medicine.
Opening archive title: TRG. Files opened.
Crime and Law Enforcement: Taixia is protected daily by the Taixian Royal Guard. The guard works much like any other police. They are there for the protection and betterment of life in Taixia. While Taixia is a very bright continent, and has a low crime rate, this number is often highly botched; the true figures are hidden from the people to prevent any panic. This does not mean Taixia is a vicious place; highly on the contrary. It just has a bit higher crime rate than they let on.
A typical Taixian Guard has the same arsenal most police officers do: a hard rubber baton, a stun gun (or tazer), rubber bullets, real bullets, a hand gun or pistol, a knife, mace/pepper spray, hand cuffs, and a whistle.
